2. Booking Terms

  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.

  • Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to change without notice prior to booking confirmation.

  • A deposit or full payment may be required to secure a reservation, depending on the travel product.

3. Payment Policy

  • Accepted forms of payment include credit card or e-transfer. Ask for instructions.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be required upon booking.

  • Final payment is due [typically 60–90 days] prior to departure, unless otherwise specified.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellation penalties vary by supplier (e.g., airline, hotel, cruise line).

  • Monarch's Rest Inc. will provide written notice of cancellation policies prior to booking confirmation.

  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed in accordance with the supplier’s policy and may take 4–8 weeks.

  • Monarch's Rest Inc. planning service fees range from $50-$500 and travel planning service fees are non-refundable.

5. Travel Insurance

  • Travel insurance (including trip cancellation and medical coverage) is strongly recommended.

  • Monarch’s Rest Inc. may offer insurance through licensed providers in Ontario.

  • Declining insurance requires a signed waiver form.

6. Changes to Bookings

  • Changes may incur additional fees, both from the agency and the supplier.

  • All changes must be made in writing.

7. Responsibilities and Liabilities

  • Monarch’s Rest Inc. acts solely as an agent for travel suppliers and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, or default.

  • Monarch’s Rest Inc. is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss resulting from travel booked through the agency.

  • Clients must verify all travel documents and ensure they meet the entry requirements of their destination(s).

8. Client Responsibilities

  • It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate personal and payment information.

  • Clients must ensure their passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond return travel date.

  • Visas, vaccinations, and any travel requirements are the traveler’s responsibility.

9. TICO Compliance

  • Monarch’s Rest Inc. is registered with TICO and abides by all consumer protection laws in Ontario.

  • In the event of a supplier failure, eligible customers may be covered under the Compensation Fund administered by TICO.

10. Privacy Policy

  • Personal data is collected solely for travel booking purposes and is handled in accordance with privacy laws in Ontario.

  • Information will not be shared with third parties outside of travel-related services.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes will be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.

  • If unresolved, complaints may be directed to TICO at www.tico.ca.

Privacy & Personal Data Protection

As your travel advisor, I am committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

By submitting your travel inquiry or booking request, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data—including but not limited to full legal names, contact information, travel documents, and payment details—for the sole purpose of planning and securing travel services on your behalf.

Your information will only be:

  • Shared with travel suppliers (e.g., airlines, hotels, tour operators) as required for booking

  • Stored securely in password-protected platforms compliant with industry security standards

  • Retained only as long as necessary for business, tax, or legal requirements

Your personal data will never be sold, shared, or used for marketing purposes without your express consent. You may request access to or deletion of your personal information at any time.
